Entdecke unendliche Möglichkeiten
I am Jörg (b. 1971) and a photo artist from Germany. I work mainly and out of conviction in analogue. I develop all of my films myself and also make my prints in my own photo lab. Even before I studied design at the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Dessau (Fh), monochrome photography inspired me to do it in black and white. After successfully completing my degree in design (Fh), I turned from object photography to personal artistic photography. For me, photography is a profound experience, drawing on past, present, and future. It can do much more than capture the moment of an era. Today, I don’t just look at an image; I’m also asked questions. One question is about the coherence of images.
For the future, I view my own photographs as source material. Material for images that will be taken tomorrow and form connections in space and time. Last but not least, images can be an invitation for me to examine them. For its appeal and reliability, for example. In a simulative era like ours…
Today I organize exhibitions of my photos and I am convinced that analog photography has a future. Keep film alive!
Ich bin Jörg (geb. 1971) und ein Fotokünstler aus Deutschland. Ich arbeite hauptsächlich und aus Überzeugung analog. Ich entwickele alle Filme selbst und erstelle auch meine Abzüge im eigenen Fotolabor. Die monochrome Fotografie hat mich schon vor meinem Designstudium an der Hochschule Anhalt Dessau (Fh) beflügelt, es in schwarzweiss zu machen. Nach erfolgreichem Abschluss zum Diplom-Designer (Fh) wende ich mich, von der Sachfotografie ausgehend, der persönlichen künstlerischen Fotografie zu. Die Fotografie ist mir ein tiefes Erlebnis, das sich aus Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft speist. Es kann viel mehr, als den Moment einer Epoche nahe bringen. Im heute betrachte ich nicht nur ein Bild, ich bekomme auch Fragen gestellt. Eine Frage ist die nach der Kohärenz von Bildern.
Für die Zukunft betrachte ich meine eigenen Fotografien als Ausgangsmaterial. Material für Bilder, die morgen gemacht werden und Verbindungen eingehen in Raum und Zeit.
